As I move forward as a storyteller I have fond memories of these dear folks at Crescent Ridge Adult Day Care in Oxon Hill, Maryland. It's such a joy to do this with them and they are so receptive.
Her Royal Highness Princess Carroll Ayo Durodola the granddaughter of a great and well-loved Nigerian king tells wonderful, mystical African tales that change lives.
Her sessions give a rare, authentic and insightful peek into African life and culture. Her paternal grandfather, Aina Owojaiye was the Oba (King) of Egbe, now a flourishing Yoruba town in the “The Giant of Africa” – Nigeria!
Princess Ayo graduated from St. Anne's Girls High School, Ibadan and The Polytechnic Ibadan. In 1999 she completed her Masters of Education & Human Development, specializing in Educational Technology Leadership from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Over the past 10 years she has held positions in training and development. The co-producer and host of Africa’s Vision Network, a cable TV show, she is the mother of two grown children, Richard Ohimai and Diane Olohitare and the proud grandmother of Naomi Remilekun & Dahntay Oluwasegun.
Princess Ayo is proud to be a member of the royal Owojaiye family of Egbe, Nigeria but is even more excited about being a member of the royal Heavenly family and daughter of the King of Kings, the Lord God Almighty.
