The Lord is good
and greatly to be praised.
He brought me up out of the miry clay.
And now, even if in
Muddy waters
It seems I stay,
I know for sure
I’m on a Rock each day.
Thanks be to the Lord who is good.
He loves me, cares for me,
and lifts me up each day.
‘Don’t look down’ is good advice,
The muddy waters are
choppy enough to splice.
If there seems to be nowhere else
to look
Rejoice in the Lord and it will suffice.
